James V. Reyes graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Economics, Government, and Politics after studying abroad at Richmond College in London, England. He and his wife Jennifer reside in Palm Beach, FL. Mr. Reyes and formerly, Jennifer Blair, recently married in Nantucket, MA. Mr. Reyes has two children, Calvin and Maggie. Ms. Reyes has five children, Emilie, Blair, Madison, Morgan, and Juliana.
Mr. Reyes is the President of Reyes Holdings LLC. which was ranked by Forbes as the 6th largest privately held company in the United States. Reyes Holdings is the largest McDonalds, Coca-Cola and beer distributor in the United States. Reyes Holdings also does business in 19 other countries.
Mr. Reyes is on the Board at the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Past Chairman of the Board of Directors for the National Rehabilitation Hospital. He is a member of the Young Presidents Organization, the First Tee of Washington, the Federal City Council, and the National Beer Wholesalers Association of which he was a previous Director.
Mr. Reyes was appointed to the Board of Visitors by Governor McAuliffe in 2015 and reappointed by Governor Northam in 2019.
