Bio
Lisa R. Kopelnik is a fourth-year from the San Francisco Bay Area in California studying Politics Honors and Economics.
At UVA, she is the former Chair of the University Judiciary Committee, where she led the student-run body that adjudicated UVA’s 12 Standards of Conduct. She is a fellow at UVA's Blue Ridge Center, a political center devoted to intellectual diversity and civil discourse, and a member of the Jefferson Literary and Debating Society.
In April of 2024, she was named a Truman Scholar and looks forward to building her future in law and public service. Outside of these involvements, she is active with the Jewish community on Grounds and enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
